“I connected with Laura through a network of referrals. Her coaching was extraordinarily insightful. The valuable questions she asked enabled me to look beyond my own views, and helped me set achievable goals for the next few months. I wish her all the best for her course and future career, and I certainly would love to work with her again in the future.”

“I had the pleasure to have Laura as my coach for a number of sessions this year. Laura is really good at what she does, an amazing listener and provides genuine support, makes you feel like you're being listened to and you really matter. Whatever situation you're going through, she has the ability to empathise and provide you with the necessary tools to overcome any challenges. Laura is very professional and methodical in her approach and managed to guide me towards understanding myself better. I highly recommend Laura."

“You listened to what I was saying and asked relevant questions, to help me think about an issue in greater depth. Your challenge about being too self-critical was spot on and definitely something I need to work on, as I will need to sell my skills and achievements to any future employer. You encouraged me to put a date on future actions. I think this will help these actions seem more do-able and help me work towards these timings. You were encouraging, non-judgemental and interested in my plans.”

“The session with Laura was my first ever with a coach and I didn't really know what to expect. My topic was a career change which is a huge project and I did not really know how to approach it. Prior to the session I had some ideas about the first steps, but I can definitely say that I felt quite lost and needed someone to help me. I was very lucky to find Laura at this important moment in my life. She has helped me to structure a gazillion thoughts around education and job market research, etc., and also offered an interesting self-discovery exercise (which I really enjoyed and I'll try to do it every half a year now!). I was really impressed by one thing. During this session Laura was mostly listening and asking the questions, and I don't know how this happened but by the end of the session I felt very inspired by MY OWN plans and ideas! This feeling was very different from that motivation spark you get when you listen to all those business / personal growth speakers. For me those motivation sparks are bright, but usually go out very quickly as their ideas are not mine! And this is really important! After the session with Laura I felt motivated, but in a very calm, long lasting way, when you have a clear goal, you have clear steps and timelines and you are confident that you'll reach your point B! Thank you so much Laura for your work!”

“It was my first time in a coaching session. Laura made me feel at ease from the word go. She took some time to explain what coaching means and set up expectations for me which was great. She asked questions to evaluate my coaching objectives and goals but in a relaxed way that made it easier for me to dig deep. Through her method, I was able to open up and explore parts of my life that might benefit from coaching. And from the questions, we were able to spot some patterns that made it possible to establish a theme for follow up sessions. She gave me some homework to explore some of the areas discussed. By doing this activity, I have been able to really focus on what I want to get out of our sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed my first session and looking forward to my next one.”

“Laura has been an effective listener and coach. She gently steered the conversation through a series of key themes to get into the more subtle elements and behaviours that contributed to the core subject we were exploring. She allowed space to talk without leading and provided insights and reflections on the main contributing factors that impact how I approached the subject in relation to my working and personal life. We were able to devise a number of small behaviours and processes that would have large impacts in helping to build the confidence and comfort in my approaches to the subject, reducing the anxieties and worries which are the hurdles to achieving best practice.

Laura allowed me the space to explore my own feelings and thoughts behind my relationship with the subject and was able to prompt the conversation with a few words at the right moments and observations on the salient elements of the discussion, how they would impact the subject of the coaching session. Laura’s overarching gentle and nurturing guidance made me feel accepted and understood at a deep level and allowed me to see a perspective of myself that I often do not, raising the awareness of the level of self-criticism, self-reflection and pressure I have built around my approach to the subject.

With Laura’s help I have been able to bring more into the spotlight these behaviours, recognise their impact, and put into practice ways to help aid my personal and professional development around the subject of our session. Though the value was in exploring and analysing the issue through discussion, Laura offered some helpful guidance on using techniques that resonated with the main issues we discovered in the session. These are both in my personal and professional life as many are closely intertwined. I have put these processes into practice and can see positive results already. I wish Laura all the very best, she is extremely knowledgeable and insightful, reassuring in her ability.”
