I am a qualified coach with a coaching qualification from the University of Cambridge and a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling from Goldsmiths, University of London. Before training as a coach, I completed an MPhil in Psychology and spent ten years working in the city in strategy, communications and change. I always worked closely with people and really enjoyed it.
I am fascinated by people, what makes them tick and how coaching can support them. I have also volunteered with a number of helping organisations. My coaching approach is informed by Gestalt, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness which I like to incorporate into my practice where relevant for the client. I like to listen with empathy and challenge where relevant.
I am a parent and try to balance looking after my children and working which is not always easy, so I am aware of the challenges around work life balance.

Why I was drawn to coaching?
I love interacting with people, and I have always been told I am a good listener. I think listening is a crucial part of coaching, but my coaching goes beyond passive listening and instead uses targeted questions and challenge where appropriate.
I was drawn to coaching after studying Psychology, working with people in a corporate environment and seeing the power of coaching first hand. I really believe that when you find the right coach for you that coaching can be incredibly empowering.
